A fix for those that receive the following error when closing Internet Explorer: "Acrobat IEhelper: iexplore.exe Application Error"
1. Try the following if this just started appearing since installing SP2, installed MS patches or changed to a different version of Adobe Acrobat:
Go to Intenet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Manage add-ons.
Disable all plugins/add-ons. Close/Open Internet Explorer(IE)
Reenable a few plugins. Close/open IE
repeat till all the plugins you want to use are enabled.
No errors ....No conflicts
2. Unfortunately the only to get rid of that error message is to uninstall windows update kb883939 and reboot your computer. If you don't think uninstalling the update is good idea, then use Firefox. I've done both as test and was successful on both ends
