喪屍感染是在CS什麼版本時就被發明的?
那時候是西元多少年?

喪屍(Zombie),又譯活死人、殭屍,類似吸血鬼或殭屍的怪物,是一種不死生物,來自非洲的巫毒教信仰。「喪屍」是Zombie的中文名稱,「僵屍」這個名詞則是專指東方的僵屍,「殭屍」用作稱呼西方的吸血鬼(為標明分別,會稱為「吸血殭屍」),但有時「殭屍」一詞亦用來稱呼Zombie。
特性
儘管東西方對喪屍/殭屍/僵屍在細節上有許多不同點,但它們還是有一些共同特性如:

喜好吸人血/吃人
除少數例外,通常只剩下獸性本能
具有傳染性,被喪屍攻擊者亦可能變成喪屍

[編輯] 巫毒教中的喪屍
根據巫毒教信仰,「houngan」或「mambo」可以復活死者。復活之後,死者並不會擁有自主意識,並仍被舉行復活儀式的人操縱。如此復活的死者就叫喪屍,但這並不一定是真的死者復活。例如在海地,常有許多殭屍傳說,其實是巫師用藥物迷昏被害人後,再用幻覺藥物跟催眠控制被害人。


[編輯] 虛構作品中的喪屍
喪屍在各式各樣的恐怖或奇幻類小說、電影、電玩、角色扮演遊戲、漫畫中多次在許多作品中,喪屍是一種不斷散播的傳染現象,通常是藉由抓或咬傷或寄生蟲來傳染,受害者通常會瀕死,並會在死後迅速轉化成喪屍。無論如何轉化的現象是死後才出現。

當代故事這種設定,可能來自我是傳奇這本科幻小說,也是後來和吸血鬼分歧之處,但那是指真吸血鬼,反而本編的疑似吸血鬼和典型的吸血鬼真祖相似。而名正言順打著喪屍招牌起家的是電影《活死人之夜》,使用沒有很長歷史和社會等級的非洲文化,便無需要有吸血鬼真祖和貴族等複雜的設定,而回復了活死人的本來面目。
